About The Role

A key clinical member of the Children's Health Integrated Care Center, responsible for providing specialized psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children presenting with emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs. The role involves conducting comprehensive psychological assessments using standardized and play-based tools, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering individual and group interventions including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family counseling, and equipping parents and caregivers with behavior-management strategies, communication techniques, and home-based support. Beyond direct patient care, the Pediatric Psychologist collaborates closely with pediatricians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to integrate mental health support into each child's care plan, while maintaining accurate clinical documentation, monitoring treatment outcomes using validated measures, developing psychoeducational resources and community outreach initiatives, promoting early mental health intervention, and supporting the delivery of safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered psychological services.

About You

Ideal Candidate would have the following:

  • Master's or Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology
  • Valid psychology license or eligibility for licensure in accordance with local regulatory requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in pediatric psychology, child mental health, or child-development settings
  • Experience conducting psychological assessments using standardized child-assessment instruments and evidence-based therapeutic interventions
  • Strong experience delivering cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, family counseling, and caregiver support
  • Proficiency in EMR documentation and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
  • Exceptional empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity when working with children and their families
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement, patient-centered care, and continuous professional development
