About The Client
One of the leading Kuwaiti banks in the region, providing a wide range of financial and banking services & products to meet both retail and commercial business needs across the middle east region.
About The Role
To Develop, monitor, administer the bank's investment and securities portfolio. Specific accountabilities will cover the following:
Portfolio monitoring & management
Develop investment products for investment portfolio
Manage relationships with external investment managers and ensure portfolio performance is monitored.
Manage relations with counterparts in order to promote the bank as an investment partner.
Evaluate investment proposals and recommend investment based on potential returns and risk
Report on valuation and performance of investments including provisions.
Manage portfolio administration and databases to ensure effective valuations, monitoring of performance etc.
About You
Ideal candidate would have the following:
Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
At least 9 years in the banking sector
Experience in investment management, investment products, portfolio evaluation techniques and practice
Experience in managing relationships with advisers and counterparts
Experience in portfolio management and advising on investment proposals
