About The Role

A key clinical member of the Nursing Services team, responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) across various stages of diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing disease management. The role involves conducting patient assessments, developing individualized care plans, administering and monitoring biologic therapies, educating patients on treatment and self-management, and supporting the delivery of safe, evidence-based care. Beyond direct patient care, the IBD Specialized Nurse contributes to multidisciplinary patient management, working closely with gastroenterologists and allied healthcare teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care, accurate clinical documentation, quality and regulatory compliance, patient education, outcome monitoring, and continuous service improvement.

About You

Ideal Candidate would have the following:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, meeting Kuwait MOH licensing requirements
• Valid nursing license or eligibility for licensure
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Gastroenterology (GIT) or Digestive Health, in line with MOH eligibility criteria
• Valid BLS certification; ACLS certification as applicable
• Experience in patient assessment, biologic therapy administration and monitoring, and medication management
• Proficiency in EMR documentation and Microsoft Office
• Strong patient education, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural hospital environment
