About the Client
A thriving startup in the field of E-commerce providing products and services to their customers in Kuwait at discounted and special rates is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the sales team and provide strategic advice to the management in order to improve performance and maximize revenue.
About the Role
The primary function of this role is to accelerate the growth of sales and market share through the following duties and responsibilities:
1. Responsible for obtaining and maintaining in-depth knowledge of the application’s functionality, and acquiring knowledge of the business workflows to be implemented in the system.
2. Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
3. Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones. 4. Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
5. Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
6. Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence.
7. Track, analyze and evaluate business development activity across the firm and recommend strategies to increase the overall effectiveness.
8. Collecting data on consumers, competitors and market place and consolidating information into actionable items, reports and presentations.
9. Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations.
10. Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties researches and implement best practices.
11. Manage leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
12. Coordinate with other marketing entities and the management
13. Create marketing plan and deploy marketing strategies in accordance to market target
14. Coordinate and manage the creation of all digital content such as Social Media, website, blogs, infographics, videos etc.
15. Measured and reported performance of all digital marketing campaigns to ensure that they meet ROI and KPI directives from any different reporting tools.
16. Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
17. Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.

About You
Ideally accepts candidates with:
  • A University degree; Bachelor's Degree is minimum requirement, Master's Degree is preferable.
  • 10 Years’ experience in sales and business development and at least 7 years within the E-commerce Sector. Must have a strong proven sales record.
  • Strong skills in client management and tech saavy.
  • Knowledge in analyzing reports from different analytical software and making recommendations to the management accordingly.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
  • Must be residing in Kuwait
